By 2021, a series of rebrands had quietly erased much of what made it iconic. In 2026, we brought it back. The logo returns to the beloved racetrack shape of the brand's heyday, rebuilt from scratch with custom letterforms — more geometric, less condensed, and structured to hold its own at any scale. The color palette is recalibrated for a digital-first world: bolder, more vibrant, higher contrast — while retaining the warmth that generations of fans recognize. On the bottle, each flavor becomes its own visual world. Explosive fruit imagery makes the taste feel visceral, immediate, and alive. We decided to find out. To launch Dr Pepper Blackberry, we built an entire ambient album from the real sounds of the drink — the crack of a can, the rush of carbonation, the slow settle of fizz. Then we pressed it to vinyl. Not as a stunt, but as a genuine artifact: hand-pressed records with organic color variation baked into every copy, etched detailing, and a lenticular cover that shifts between positive and negative depending on how the light catches it. No two records came out exactly the same. The idea came from a simple tension: Gen Z is the most digitally native generation alive, and yet they're the ones buying record players. They're the ones seeking out objects with weight, texture, and permanence. Sounds of Succulence was designed for that instinct — to turn a product launch into something worth owning, displaying, and passing around. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Bears' legendary championship season, we designed a limited-edition direct-to-consumer kit — a collectible built for die-hards and a new generation of fans alike. the same networks at half the price—with no contracts. Over time, the brand’s look became outdated and blended into a crowded market. We refreshed the brand’s identity, and the challenge—use existing assets. With a bold, modern design system—newly refined logo, color palette, and the introduction of high-contrast black-and-white patterns. Green became the signature accent, making visual elements and key messages stand out clearly. The project aimed to humanize the brand and modernize its assets to resonate better with our target audience, strengthening its market position and driving brand affinity. Studio photography captured real people in everyday moments by creating relevant scenarios for our audience. Utilizing neutral tones with pops of green and creating a cohesive humanized brand. Unmute for sound&nbsp;︎ The design refresh has created consistency across all touchpoints, from ads to in-store displays, while adaptable black-and-white patterns evolved with the seasons—featuring checkered patterns for NASCAR and ribbon designs for the holidays. As a result, a visually striking identity drives distinction and draws consumers into Walmart’s retail aisles. Deutsch LA split from Deutsch NY—getting smaller to forge our own path with purpose. That move paid off in 2024, when Deutsch LA rebranded simply as “Deutsch,” shifting the center of gravity west. LA’s leadership became sole stewards of the brand, and we embedded the vibrant spirit of “LA” at its core. A new visual identity, created by Deutsch Design, brought the transformation to life. The bold color palette reflects our people and LA’s sun-soaked energy. Our fluid logo and typeface connect past to future—letter to letter—echoing the script and graffiti of our city. Mixed media, texture, language, code, and art ground the brand in LA’s rich cultural fabric. The program offers sponsorship to attend the ADCOLOR Conference &amp; Awards, career training through ADCOLOR University, short and long term mentorship, as well as activities designed to inspire creativity and build camaraderie. This year’s theme, “Off Mute,” amplifies the voices of underrepresented groups who’ve been told to stay quiet and “take what they can get.” It’s 
a bold response to DEI critics who make noise without substance. We’re raising our voices through action—fighting for diversity, equity, and inclusion, building a community where diverse identities and allies thrive. We’re no longer mistaking volume for power—we’re going Off Mute. Inspired by this theme, we developed a design system that visually embodies amplified voices. Layered frequencies, sound waves, and refraction create a sense of visual volume, while plus symbols serve as key motifs, representing the amplification of diverse perspectives 
and reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and resonance.
